  • Eli Gold
The Voice of the Tide, Eli Gold, will handle Bama's play-by-play for the 21st season in 2008. A nationally known sportscaster, Eli also handles national radio play-by-play each Sunday for the NFL, while NASCAR fans know him as a30-year voice of that sport for the Motor Racing Network. Eli's other on-air credits include ten years as a professional hockey announcer (including time in the National Hockey League) along with three seasons in pro baseball.

    Tom Roberts
Tom Roberts is the host of the game-day broadcast in his 30th year on the Tide broadcast. He began as the network's statistician in 1979 and held that position until 1998 when he turned it over to his son, Brian Roberts. The senior Roberts has hosted the network's pre-game show for 14 years. During the game, he updates Bama fans with scores and other statistics. Roberts will also be the host of "Hey, Coach," Alabama's weekly call-in show on Thursday night from Wings Sports Grille in Tuscaloosa.

    Barry Krauss
Barry Krauss heads to the sidelines for his second season on the network. Krauss was an All-American linebacker on Alabama's 1978 National Championship team. A member of Alabama's Team of the Century, Krauss was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Colts in 1979 and played in the NFL for 13 seasons. He updates Bama fans with news from the sidelines and after each game, Krauss heads to the locker room to interview Coach Saban and Bama players.

    Chris Stewart
Chris Stewart is back to host the Crimson Tide pre-game and post-game shows for the sixth year, providing fans a chance to talk about the Bama game of the week. During the game, he provides the commentary for Comcast/Charter Sports South's tape delay broadcast and for CTSN's pay-per-view games. Stewart is also the radio voice of Crimson Tide Basketball and Baseball
